Singing at Antioch
Antioch Baptist Church will host a singing Friday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
Terry Hall will be the featured singer. Rev. Lon Baxter is the pastor.
Benefit singing at Nazarene
There will be a benefit singing at the Monroeville Church of the
Nazarene Saturday, Dec. 1 from 5 until 8 p.m. featuring "Grateful
Heart," "New Direction," and "Southern Gospel Believers." A cake auction
will also be held and a love offering taken to help with the hospital
expenses of Ronnie Hoskins who has no insurance. The church is
located at 271 Poplar Street in Monroeville. Rev. James Moore is the
pastor.
Woodlawn Methodist
Christmas concert
"Strings of Praise" will be presenting a special Christmas concert
Sunday, Dec. 2 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. This
is a violin ensemble composed of four teens and their violins.
Woodlawn church is located between Repton and Monroeville on U.S.
Highway 43 East. Revs. Kenneth John and Thomas Smith invite everyone
to attend.
Pastor appreciation
Rev. Curtis Thomas is resigning as pastor of Witch Creek Baptist
Church as of Dec. 2. A covered dish luncheon will be held after the 11
a.m. service in appreciation of his service. All members and friends of
the church are invited to attend.
Wayman Chapel anniversary
Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church of Suggsville will celebrate its
church anniversary Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will
be Rev. Charles E. Johnson and congregation of New Jerusalem
Holiness Church of Bay Minette. Rev. Prospere Sainvilus is the pastor.
Forest Springs seeking donations
Forest Springs Baptist Church of Morvin has changed the homecoming
date from the second Sunday in August to the second Sunday
in October. Information is needed on the cemetery records and
unmarked graves. The church roof leaks and needs to be replaced with
a metal roof. Any information and all donations would be greatly

Bible study at Fulton Baptist
The First Baptist Church of Fulton located at 949 Highway 178 will
be studying the Book of Revelation on Sunday nights beginning at 5
p.m. Dr. John Copeland, pastor, will be leading the study.
Cemetery donations sought
Union Baptist Church of Coffeeville are asking for donations for the
upkeep of the Thornton/Howze and Union Baptist Church

Coffeeville Cemetery
Donations are sought for the maintenance of the Coffeeville
Cemetery. Families and friends of loved ones buried in the community
