Farm-City poster winners announced
Winners in the Clarke County Farmers Federation Farm-City Poster Contest were announced Nov. 28 at the ALFA office in Grove Hill. Marie Slade of ALFA made the announcement and is pictured below with each winner. Gauge Horton of Clarke Prep (below middle) won first prize in the first to third grade category. He and his teacher Patricia Jackson each received $50. Addison Parrish of Thomasville Elementary (below right) won second place. Parrish and her teacher Diann Harris each received $25.
Taylor Howard of Jackson Academy (above top) was the first place winner in the fourth to sixth grade category. Katie Parrish of Thomasville Elementary (above bottom) was the second place winner. Howard and her teacher Brenda Schell each received $50. Parrish and her teacher Diann Harris each received $25.
