Dayton Horton was pullling out of her driveway when two cars, traveling east, one behind another at a high rate of speed, approached.

The first vehicle missed Horton, but took out a section of fence on Royce McVay's nearby property. The second vehicle. driven by Daniel Powell, struck Horton's in the rear passenger door on her side.

Horton was taken to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.
