McHaney Ruby Dean McHaney, 80, of Jackson died Dec. 2, 2007 at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1927. She was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Bryant B. (Nita) Palmer Jr., Brundidge; three brothers, Jimmy Pritchett, Jacksonville, Ark., Willie J. Pritchett, Gulfport, Miss., Charles Pritchett, Jackson; one sister, Ruth Stringer, Jackson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The service was Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Jackson with Rev. Don Rushing officiating. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Forest Avenue Baptist Church. Active pallbearers were Dixon Greer, Doug Atchison, Bill Howell, Joe Baggett, Asberry Daffin and Ray Stringer.
Honorary pallbearers were Bryant Palmer III, Lee Moseley, Johnnie Moseley and Dean Moseley.
