Stringer Dorothy Stringer, 92, of Coffeeville died Dec. 2, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 13, 1915. She was a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She was in the Clarke County Historical Society of Grove Hill, Women's Club, Garden Club in Maryland, past president of Augusta, Georgia's Women's Club, Southborough, Maryland Women's Club, Southborough, Maryland Garden Club Eastern Star of Maryland, and was active in the Maryland Extension Service. She was a member of the West Bend Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Earl Gordon Stringer Jr., Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Carolyn S. Van Iderstine, Charlotte S. Matson, both of Coffeeville, Dorothy S. Anderson, Deerfield, NH; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, (today) Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at the West Bend Baptist Church. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson will direct.
