CCHS improves to 3-3

Deforest Taite slam dunks against Livingston last Friday night.
The Clarke County High School Bulldogs, ranked fourth in Class 3A, evened their record at 3-3 as they beat Escambia County 63-41 last Saturday in Grove Hill.

Deforest Taite led the way with 25 points and three steals. Kenneth Kimbrough had 14 points and six rebounds. Jeffermy McConnell added eight points. Dwayne owens had four assists, two steals and two rebounds.

Last Friday the Bulldogs beat Livingston 54-40 in Grove Hill.

Taite had 14 points, three rebounds, three steals and three assists to pace CCHS. Justin Burroughs had 17 points and nine rebounds. Kimbrough added nine points, 13 rebounds, three steals and three assists. Ronnie Osborne had four rebounds and three steals.

The Bulldogs traveled to Livingston on Nov. 27 and lost 73- 70.

Taite had 34 points, three steals and two assists. Burroughs had 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. McConnell and Osborne each had four points.

Earlier this season CCHS edged Francis mjarion 52-51.

Taite had 16 points. Burroughs added 11 points. Rashad Snell and Colton McConnell each had eight points.

They lost 68-43 to Wilcox- Central.

Justin Hill had nine points. Taite and Snell each had six points.

The Bulldogs beat Greene County 60-37.

Burroughs had 21 points and Taite added 19 points.

CCHS was edged 57-54 in the season opener by Wayne County in Waynesboro.

Taite had 15 points. Burroughs and Marlon McConnell each had 10 points.
