CPS basketball season gets going

The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators lost 58-38 to the Lady Warriors of Sparta Academy on Nov. 30.

Corrie Allen led the Lady Gators with 15 points, 12 rebounds and five steals. Haley Hill had eight points and two rebounds. Leandra Morgan had two points and a rebound. Andrea Bagley had three points and four rebounds.

On Nov. 27 CPS opened the season by falling 45-31 to Morgan Academy in Selma.

Allen had 27 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Hill had seven rebounds. Bagley had eight rebounds. Libby Harrigan had a rebound, two steals and two assists.
