UM worship band available for concerts

Exit 13, a modern worship band from the University of Mobile Center for Performing Arts, is booking concerts at youth events, churches, camps and civic events from January through April 2008, according to UM graduate and director Mark Moses.

The worship band features acoustic and electric guitar, bass, keyboard, violin, drums and vocals. Their music style leans toward Hillsong, Matt Redman and Charlie Hall.

The seven-member band is composed of students attending the University of Mobile, a private Baptist-affiliated university in Mobile.

Exit 13, named after the exit number on I-65 that leads to the university, has performed before thousands of people at the university's popular "Christmas Spectacular!", opened up for Integrity recording artist Jason Morant, and led students in worship throughout Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama.
