Dollar General Store works with DHR for Toys for Tots'

DHR representatives and Dollar General Store employees work together on Christmas program.
The Clarke County Department of Human Resources received toys from the Dollar General Store in Grove Hill as they are sponsoring a "Toys for Tots Program."

Clarke County DHR is sponsoring an Angel Tree for foster children, protective services children and the elderly in their caseload. Their goal is to make Christmas merrier for those who are less fortunate. If you are interested in helping a child or an elderly person, you can pick an angel from the tree at Clarke County Department of Human Resources and shop for them or make a financial contribution which is taxdeductible.

You can call Kimberly Guidroz-Oputa at 275-7022 or Erica Cunningham at 275-7023 or 275-7001.

"Special thanks are extended to the hard working employees of the Grove Hill Dollar General for coordinating the 'Toys for Tots Program.' We graciously thank the customers who donated toys to ensure needy children appreciate the joy of Christmas. Christmas is about showing love, sharing and caring for those in need," said Lou Boykin, director of the Clarke County DHR.
