Construction project at Service Park closes campground briefly

As a result of ongoing construction projects within Service Park Campground located near Coffeeville, the campground is scheduled to be closed for more extensive electrical upgrades on Dec. 10. The campground will re-open on Feb. 1, 2008. Please bear with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as they are renovating to better serve you, said a Corps spokesman.

Also reservations can be made on-line at www.recreation.gov or at the Service Park Gatehouse for dates after March 1, 2008.
