Dunagans to celebrate 50th anniversary Dec. 22

Kathleen and Henry Dunagan of Coffeeville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 22, from 2-4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Coffeeville.

The couple was married on that date in 1957, at the same church, by the Rev. John D. Hudson. A celebration service will be in the sanctuary at 2 p.m. with the reception following in the church fellowship hall.

The former Janie Kathleen Clanton of Coffeeville, Mrs. Dunagan is the daughter of the late Lizzie Janie and George W. Clanton. Mr. Dunagan is the son of the late Stella Viola and Jonathan Levi "Baud" Dunagan. His stepfather was the late A.G. Counselman.

The couple's children, Donette and Tim Mullinix of Jackson and Julie and Terry Dunagan of Montgomery, along with their four grandchildren, will host the anniversary celebration. Family and friends are invited to share in the event through the medium of the press as local invitations are not being sent.
