Bumpers Ronald Luzell Bumpers, 56, of Leroy died Dec. 8, 2007 at Jackson Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1951. He was a native of Winn. He was a member of Berry's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Winn. He had worked as a chemical operator for Ciba Giegy at McIntosh. Survivors include his wife, Velma Robinson Bumpers, Leroy; one son, Reginald Robinson, Washington, D.C.; one daughter, Angel (Brandon) Goulding, Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandchildren; his mother, Sweetie Mae Bumpers Law, Jackson; two brothers, Arnold (Annie) Bumpers, Donald (Anette) Bumpers, both of Winn; one sister, Helen (Collin) Calhoun, Grove Hill.
A visitation will be Thursday, (today), Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m. at Berry's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Winn. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery of Jackson. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
