Hoven

Coma L. "Pee Wee" Hoven, 79, of Jackson died Dec. 6, 2007 at his residence.

He was born July 26, 1928. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post #85. He was a retired owner of Hoven Auto Sales.

Survivors include one son, Marty (Donna) Hoven, Demopolis; one daughter, Susan Hoven, Jackson; one brother, Dorsey Fait Hoven, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Lizzie H. Sheffield, Marie H. Young, both of Jackson; five grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.

The service was Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. at Stave Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Maloy officiating. Burial was in the Stave Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.

Active pallbearers were Bill Taylor, David Rikard, Charles Little, Don Lolley, Jeremy Rikard and Norman "Buzz" Jordan.
