Jackson

Johnnie Irvin Jackson, 83, of Coffeeville died Dec. 8, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 6, 1924. He was a member of Grace Chapel in Coffeeville. He was in the United States Army Air Corps in World War II where he was a tail gunner on the B-17 Bombers. He was a self-employed logger and farmer.

Survivors include four sons, Donald Jackson, Willie Jackson, Charles Jackson, all of Coffeeville, Larry Jackson, Aquilla; one daughter, Barbara Silda, Moselle, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

The service was Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Grace Chapel in Coffeeville. Burial was in the Grace Chapel Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
