Spelling bee held at Grove Hill Elementary
A fourth grade spelling bee was held Tuesday afternoon at Grove Hill Elementary School. Eighteen students participated before an audience of third and fourth graders. The runner-up in the contest was Christopher Rouse (front left), and the winner was Tamia Fluker (front right). The winning word was "bundle." Clarke County Commissioner Patricia DuBose (photo at left), a former fourth grade teacher at the school, pronounced the words for the participants.
