Operation Christmas Child

Dear Editor,

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who volunteered a few moments of his or her time to make Operation Christmas Child collection week at the Grove Hill Relay Center a success.

During the week of November 12-18, there were 1,743 gift-filled shoeboxes collected to give children overseas a glimpse of God's love. Over the next few weeks, these boxes will join millions of others as they make their way to the children God has already chosen to receive a gift this year.

Thank you especially to the Clarke Baptist Association for allowing use of their facilities again this year, and to Bro. Doug Williams for helping transport the shipping cartons. Please remember to pray for the missionaries and other volunteers who will be handing out these shoeboxes. May you and your families have a blessed Christmas season!

Deborah Harvell, Volunteer Coordinator
