A Christmas present for CCHS students

Workers are putting the finishing touches on the new Clarke County High School building. Initial plans were to start moving this week but crews are still putting finishing touches on the nearly $6 million complex. The move will come soon, though, and students will be in the building for the spring semester. Visitors are greeted by a spacious lobby when they enter the front door of the new school (left).    I am delighted to see the student body of Clarke County High School finally get a new facility. It has been long overdue. Many thanks to the Town Council, Board of Commissioners, Board of Education and others who played a role in making this become a reality. Go Bulldogs!!! You had a great season.
