Robinson

Mack "MC" Robinson, 73, of Gainestown died Dec. 16, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 16, 1934. He was a member of Kindgom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Jackson. He was a retired employee of Searcy Hospital of Mt. Vernon.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Fox Robinson, Gainestown; five sons, Mack (Mary) Robinson Jr., Mobile, Lester Robinson, Lima, Ohio, James Robinson, Milton (Stephanie) Robinson, Timothy (Valarie) Robinson, all of Birmingham; four daughters, Linda (Willie L.) Williams, Sherry D. Martin, Jeanette (Gene) Sims, Demetrice (Randi) Robinson, all of Birmingham; seven brothers, Evans (Frances) Robinson, Jackson, Levi (Verdean) Robinson, Choctaw Bluff, Orie Robinson, Hartman (Dora) Robinson, Sunflower, William C. Lucas Sr., Norman A. (Deborah) Lucas Sr., all of Mobile, Lamar (Diane) Lucas, Brooklyn, N.Y.; six sisters, Etheleen Weaver, Citronelle, Nettie (Charles) Wiley, McIntosh, Viletta B. (Charles) Perkins, Mobile, Ruth Davis, Detroit, Mich., Brenda Robinson, Tracey Robinson, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three aunts; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annette Whittaker Robinson, Willie Lucas Sr., son, Brad Robinson, daughter, Jackie N. Robinson, a sister, Margaret D. Lucas, three brothers, Spencer R. Lucas, Emanuel Robinson Jr., Frank Lucas.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson. A second viewing will be Saturday, Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. until the 12 noon funeral hour at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Jackson. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Alma.
