Harrell

Hazel Dean Brewer Harrell, 85, of the Antioch community near Grove Hill died Dec. 16, 2007 in a local hospital.

She was born Jan. 15, 1922. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She retired as a seamstress for Vanity Fair Mills in Jackson.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jo Walker, Antioch; three grandchildren, Eric (Fleaka) Walker, Grove Hill, Dina (Darryl) Cabaniss, Jackson, Paige (Jason) Ammons, Baton Rouge, La.; eight great-grandchildren.

The service was Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Revs. Cleon Kyles and Lon Baxter officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.

Active pallbearers were Jimmy Brewer, Jason Ammons, Matt Walker, Adam Walker, Storm Cabaniss and Scotty Harrell.
