Sides

Edsel A. Sides, 80, of Jackson died Dec. 17, 2007 at a Mobile area hospital.

He was born April 18, 1927. He was native of Carbon Hill. He was a member of the Jackson Church of Christ. He was a former plant manager for Lowman Power Plan in Leroy and a senior project manager for Sgt. Lundy Power Company of Chicago.

Survivors include one son, Steve Sides, Paducah, Kentucky; one brother, Don Gene Sides, Indianapolis, Ind.; one grandchild, Karen Deanna Gibson, Richmond, Va.

The service was Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tenn.
