Pugh John Amon Pugh, 85, of Thomasville died Dec. 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born Nov. 10, 1922 in Lasca. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Nell Pugh, Thomasville; three sons, Johnny A. Pugh, Grove Hill, Jeff A. Pugh, Steve Pugh, both of Thomasville; one brother, Curtis Pugh, Thomasville; one sister, Lorena Pugh Reid, Thomasville; eight grandchildren. The service was Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Burial was in the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were Michael Boozer, Tony Williams, Kenneth Lynn, Jonathan Pugh, Jerrin Thompson and Joseph Pugh.
