New, improved CT scanner to be purchased by Grove Hill hospital

      The Grove Hill Memorial Hospital plans to purchase a 16-slice CT or CAT (computed axial tomography) machine. Doug Sewell, hospital administrator, told the Board of Directors Dec. 20 that prices had reduced for CTA machines to the point that that the hospital could purchase a more advanced machine.
