Our Opinions
      The new Clarke County High School is finished- or nearly so. The short move from the 1936 building on one side of the campus to the new one on the other side is underway and plans are for students to resume classes in the new building when they return in January from their Christmas holiday break.

      I like to ring in the New Year with football, preferably a game that begins early and ends early, so I can get to sleep at a decent hour. I no longer feel it necessary to stay up until midnight and watch the ball drop. Whether I'm awake or not, the old ends and the new begins, right on schedule.
