Edward Prentiss Flint, 61, of Pine Hill died May 20, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 23, 1946 in Mobile. He was a native of Mobile. He had worked as an air conditioning repairman.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Flint; two sons, Andy Flint, Eddie Flint, both of Pine Hill; one daughter, Lisa Stabler, Dothan; two brothers, Gary Flint, Pine Hill, D.R. Flint, Mobile; two sisters, Patricia Strickland, Janice Flint, both of Pine Hill; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Tillman and Lois Tillman, both of Mobile.
The service was May 22 at 2 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Akridge officiating. Burial was in Independence Cemetery in Sunny South.
Active pallbearers were Andy Flint, Eddie Flint, Gary Flint, Grady Flint, Steven Stabler and Bobby Whitten.
Honorary pallbearers were Luke Flint, Dillan Barkley, Chad Strickland, Keith Haskew and Christopher Noble.
Earlene McHaney Norris, 72, of Nanafalia died May 20, 2008 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Miss.
She was born Oct. 22, 1935 in Nettlesboro. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a member of the South Marengo Rescue Squad and the Nanafalia Community Club. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Wayne Norris, Nanafalia; two daughters, Cindy (John) Wood, Thomasville, Sheila (Chris) Roe, Pine Hill; two sisters, Betty Long, Ashford, Barbara Pearson, Pine Hill; five grandchildren.
The service was May 22 at 11 a.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Hal Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were Anthony Fuller, Robby Dixon, Kenneth Wilson, James Rogers Jr., Randy Pearson and Ronnie Ratchford.
