He was born July 6, 1924. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Winn. He was a disabled veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include one sister, Keeble Bumpers, Jackson; a nephew and guardian, Raymond Bedwell, Jackson.
A graveside service was July 19 at 3 p.m. in the Winn Community Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Gaillard officiating. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
