Roy Homer Patrick, 84, of Pine Hill died July 21, 2008 at Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville.

He was born April 19, 1924 in Rison,

Ariz. He was a

United States Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Pine Hill Chapel of The Apostolic Faith. He was a retired railroad agent with Burlington Northern Railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Tyler Patrick, Pine Hill; three sons, Rylan Patrick, Fountain Valley, Calif., Clarke (Selena) Holloway, Gilbertown, Tony Holloway, Alabama; three daughters, Glynda (Larry) Haynes, Atlanta, Ga., Vesta (John) Lowe, Pine Bluff, Ark., Lisa (Steve) Harrigan, Huntsville; one sister, Mildred (John) Morgan, Pine Bluff, Ark.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

The service was July 24 at 2 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Brening officiating. Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Ralph Sheffield, Scott Haynes, Mark Culp, John R. Autrey, Marc Prescott and R.D. Tyler.

Honorary pallbearers were J.C. Tyler, Anthony Tyler, Sammy Tyler, Paul Headley, James Swanner, Ken Bridges, Milton Lassiter, Southern Care Hospice and nephews and nieces.
