He was born Sept. 9, 1922. He
was a native of
Monroe County. He was a former resident of Coffeeville. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a retired Air Force Captain having served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.
Survivors include two sons, James W. "Jim" Fore III, Roger Glenn Fore, both of Coffeeville; four daughters, Cherry Louise Hart, Americas, Ga., Glenda Miller, Irvington, Gretchen Sudduth, Livingston, Tammy Shewmake, Coffeeville; one brother, Fantroy Fore, Albany, Ga.; one sister, Joyce Ann Fore, Slidel, La.; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 5 until 8 p.m. in Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson.
The service will be Thursday, (today), Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Coffeeville Cemetery with full military honors.
Active pallbearers are Donna Brown, Kara Ivy, Michael Miller, Angela Crager, Jessica Griffin, Joshua Fore, Eric Shewmake, Jami Kimbell, Arville Miller, Alan Brown and Tyler Dickerson.
Honorary pallbearers were the special caretakers, Pauline Lake, Rita Malone, Specialty Hospital North nurses and staff, Rush Foundation Fourth Floor North nurses and staff.
