He was born March 20, 1957 in
was raised in Jackson. He grew up with the love of hunting and fishing. He later moved to Panama City, Fla. where he first worked for the city, then for the last 15 years of his life he worked SWS First Response. He was a veteran of the United Sates Army.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Jo Daniels, his mother, Dolly Smitherman; sisters, Denise Wade and B.J. Griffin and her family, his special niece, Chrissy Daniels, his nephew, Jim Daniels, aunt and uncle, Louise and Fred Marks, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and his family at SWS and so many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, James Clifford Daniels Sr., his brother, James Clifford Daniels Jr., his nephew, Joseph Tolbert and many other loved ones.
A memorial graveside service with military honors was Saturday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens on the Walker Springs Road. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 West 19th Street, Panama City, Fla. 32405.
