James Bernard Jackson, 83, of Thomasville died Aug. 27, 2008 at Jackson Health Care Facility. He was born Feb. 3, 1925.

He is survived by a sister, Cecile Runnels, Alexander City; several nephews and nieces.

A graveside service was Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Jim DuFriend officiating. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
