Juanita Wilson, 76, of Jackson, died Sept. 3, 2008 at Jackson hospital.
She was born Feb. 22, 1934. She was a graduate of Harper High School where she graduated with honors and later attended Alabama State University. She was a member of South Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was a former substitute teacher.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Fleming, Harvey, La., Claudia Wilson, Jacqueline Bernard, both of Jackson; three sons, Russell Wilson, New Orleans, La., Chris Wilson, Jackson, Anthony Wilson, Mobile; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Taite and Rufus Glover; two brothers, Alexander Taite and Herman Hall.
The service was Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at South Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson with Revs. James M. Howard and Jerry Bryant officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Jackson. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
