Mr. Pope, Miss Pritchett Louis Fox of Mobile announces the engagement of his daughter, Karen Donisha Jackson Pritchett of Grove Hill to Terry Dewayne Pope of Thomasville, son of M.C. Pope of Hartselle and Dorothy B. Pope of Thomasville.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae Jackson of Gainestown. She is the granddaughter of the late Peter and Queen Jackson and the late Dink and Irma Fox, all of Gainestown.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Malachi and Ellen Pope and the late Charlie and Rosie Champion.

Miss Pritchett is a 1980 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed by Clarke County Correctional Facility in Grove Hill.

Mr. Pope is a 1983 graduate of Thomasville High School. He is employed by Jackson Ace Hardware in Thomasville.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at 5 p.m. at Antioch AME Church. Family and friends are invited.
