Ronald Lamar Jordan, 51, of Arlington died Sept. 25, 2008 at USA Medical Center in Mobile.
He was born Oct. 26, 1956 in Arlington. He was a member of the Magnolia Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had worked as a forklift operator with Browder & Son Veneer Mill in Thomasville.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Jordan, Arlington; his mother, Billie Joyce Jordan, Orrville; two sons, Michael Aitken, West Point, Ga., Mitchell Aitken, Magnolia; two daughters, Michell Bridges, Whynot, Miss., Melissa Phillips, Magnolia; one sister, Gail Jordan, Calera; two brothers, Bill Jordan, Orrville, Mark Jordan, Pine Hill; 12 grandchildren.
The service was Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. with Branch President Rocky Newton officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Cemetery in Magnolia. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Bridges, Michael Aitken, Adam Ballard, Mack Jordan, John Walter McIntyre, Darrell Joe Tyler, Jay Jay Novem and Gary Phillips.
Honorary pallbearer was Jimmy Wayne Bridges.
