NOTICE OF PUBLIC TEST FOR AUTOMATIC TABULATING EQUIPMENT FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION

In accordance with Section 17-24-9 of the 1975 Code of Alabama, a public test will be held on the automatic tabulating voting machines to be used in the November 4, 2008, General Election on Friday, October 24, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Voting Machine Warehouse in Grove Hill, Alabama, to determine the accuracy and reliability of the Optech III (Eagle) automatic tabulating machines. Most people are still at work at 2 pm on fridays.
I think this public testing should be more availble to the public. (Maybe on the weekend or after 4pm)
