He was born July 22, 1929. He was a native of Clarke County. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Fairford, Ala. He was a member of the Oliver Masonic Lodge #334. He was a U.S. Army Veteran in the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Searcy Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
Survivors include one son, Percy Dwayne (Pam) Haskew, Colorado Springs, Colo.; five daughters, Judy (Greg) Austin, Lakeside, Calif., Retha Taylor, Spanish Fort, Carolyn Howard, Lori (Derryl) Evans, all of Fairford, Michele (Robert) Nouwen, Mobile; two brothers, James Haskew, Ned Haskew; four sisters, Juanita McVeigh, Ruth Whitaker, Frances Smith, Marguerite Overton; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle L. Haskew.
The service was Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Fairford, Ala. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairford. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
