Homer Anuel Crow, 89, of Thomasville died Oct. 21, 2008 at Mobile Infirmary.
He was born on Friday, Nov. 22, 1918 in Valdosta, Ga. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. He was a retired automobile mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Earl Crow, Thomasville; one son, William "Buddy" Crow, Thomasville; three brothers, Earl J. Crow, Thomasville, Charles H. Crow, Huntsville, Alvin B. Crow, Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Joy Lenz, Fairhope, Betty Johnson, Daphne; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Kay Crow.
The service was Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. James Best and Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial was in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Chaney, Kyle Chaney, James Chaney, Bill Bo Crow, Mike Mauldine and Gary Cockerham.
Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
