James Clifton Johnson, 63, of Fulton died Oct. 30, 2008 at his residence.
He was born July 12, 1945 in Fulton. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He worked as an insurance agent.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gray Johnson, Fulton; two sons, Todd (Vickie) Johnson, Fulton, Ken Johnson, Grove Hill; three daughters, Debra (Keith) Sheffield, Monroeville, Margaret Roberts, Walker Springs, Jennifer (Mark) Williams, Thomasville; one brother, Julius (Agnes) Johnson, Fulton; four sisters, Mildred Weatherly, Marlene (Tiny) Drinkard, all of Thomasville, Nell Godwin, Monroeville, Wylene (John) Boney, Butler; 13 grandchildren.
The service was Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with Revs. Warren Shewmake and Benny Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were Frank Martin, Danny Bedwell, Dennis Haskew, Rusty Gates, Donald Pugh, Ricky Goodman, Randy Luker and Morris Alday.
Honorary pallbearers were The Fulton Volunteer Fire Department.
