Creola B. Dickinson, 77, of Mobile died Oct. 27, 2008 at her residence.
She was a native of Whatley. She was a faithful member of Truevine Baptist Church.
Survivors include four children, Wayne Ray Dickinson, Joyce Marie (Brady) Banks, Wanda Olivia Dickinson, Cynthia (Brian) Anderson, all of Mobile; six brothers, Elizie Lee Burroughs, Whatley, Marvin (Ann) Burroughs, Milwaukee, WI, Louis (Wendy) Burroughs, Jackson, MS, Dr. Leonard (Corine) Wells, Alvin Wells, Labaron (Mattie) Wells, all of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Marion Welch, Milwaukee, WI., Alice Robinson, Chicago, Ill., one brother-in-law, Eddie James (Thelma) Dickinson, Demopolis, one sister-in-law, Idella (Ray) Bass, a devoted niece and caregiver, Andrea Burroughs; five grandchildren, three of whom she raised as her own, LaTara (Jason) Taylor, Birmingham, Tamika Dickinson, Anthony Dickinson, Chrysanthia Banks, Jarvis (Britney) Dickinson, all of Mobile; three great-grandchildren, all of Mobile; a host of other nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George Dickinson, parents, Rev. Jack Burroughs and Deborah Allen Burroughs, stepfather, Tommy Wells, twin brothers, C.C. Burroughs and James Burroughs, one sister, Levern Burroughs.
