Roger Glenn Rush, 59, of Mobile died Nov. 25, 2008 in a Mobile area hospital.

He was born April 14, 1949. He was a native of Jackson. He was a member of Creekwood Church of Christ in Mobile. He was a mason and member of Howard Lodge in Mobile. He worked in sales for Bowman Distribution in the auto parts industry.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Bozeman Rush, Mobile; two daughters, Amy (Robert) Anderson, Ashley (Chuck) Pugh, all of Mobile; his father, James R. Rush, Jackson, a brother, Ronald L. Rush, Jackson; four grandchildren, Christian Anderson, Noah Anderson, Jonah Anderson and Charlie Pugh, all of Mobile; 27 nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernell Rush.

The service was Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. at the Jackson Church of Christ with Revs. David Sargent, W.T. Allison and William Harper officiating. Burial was in the Jones Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery in Coffeeville. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed. was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Ben Dunn Jr., Lucedale, Miss.; four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat grandchild.

The service was Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. with Revs. Scott Myers and Steve Green officiating. Burial was in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
