He was born Dec. 26, 1932. He
was a native of
Haleyville. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was retired with the Alabama National Guard with almost 30 years of total service to his country. He was a member of the Grove Hill Masonic Lodge and the Baptist faith. He was also retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation in Grove Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Faye Glenn, Grove Hill; one son, Billy Morris Glenn Jr., Saraland; two daughters, Patricia Carol Jones, Butler, Teresa Ann Harrell, Grove Hill; two sisters, Betty Glenn Bendford, Carolyn Glenn Wilford, both of Haleyville; nine grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scottie Glenn; three brothers, Vernon Glenn, Horace Glenn and wife, Debbie and Cecil Glenn.
The service was Dec. 5 at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville with Rev. Jason Thorn officiating. Burial was in the Winston County Memorial Gardens with military honors.
