Driver injured in wreck on County Road 4

A driver was injured in a one-car accident Wednesday morning in the Salipta community.

James Christopher Dove, 28, of Foley, was the driver of a 2005 Ford, which was involved in a wreck at approximately 1:40 a.m. on County Road 4, according to the State Trooper's Office in Evergreen. The cause of the accident was not known at press time.

LifeLine Ambulance transferred Dove to an undisclosed medical facility. The extent of Dove's injuries were not known.

Two passengers, Wayne Reed, 28, and Amanda Anderson, 27, both of Jackson, were not injured.

The Salipta and Coffeeville Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the accident.
