Robinson

Mack "MC" Robinson, 74, of Gainestown died Dec. 16, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 16, 1934. He was a member of Kindgom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Jackson. He was a retired employee of Searcy Hospital of Mt. Vernon.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Fox Robinson, Gainestown; six sons, Mack (Mary) Robinson Jr., Mobile, Lester Robinson, Lima, Ohio, James Robinson, Milton (Stephanie) Robinson, Timothy (Valarie) Robinson, Demetrice (Randi) Robinson, all of Birmingham; three daughters, Linda (Willie L.) Williams, McIntosh, Sherry D. Martin, Jeanette (Gene) Sims, all of Birmingham; seven brothers, Evans (Frances) Robinson, Jackson, Levi (Verdean) Robinson, Choctaw Bluff, Orie Robinson, Hartman (Dora) Robinson, Sunflower, William C. Lucas Sr., Norman A. (Deborah) Lucas Sr., all of Mobile, Lamar (Diane) Lucas, Brooklyn, N.Y.; six sisters, Etheleen Weaver, Citronelle, Nettie (Charles) Wiley, McIntosh, Viletta B. (Charles) Perkins, Mobile, Ruth Davis, Detroit, Mich., Brenda Robinson, Tracey Robinson, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three aunts; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annette Whittaker Robinson, Willie Lucas Sr., two sons, Brad Robinson, daughter, Jackie N. Robinson, a sister, Margaret D. Lucas, three brothers, Spencer R. Lucas, Emanuel Robinson Jr., Frank Lucas.

The service was Dec. 22 at 12 noon at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Jackson. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery in Alma. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed
