Nellie Walker Galamb, 97, of Thomasville died Dec. 28, 2007 at Thomasville Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 3, 1910 in China Spring, Texas. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Scyrene. She was a former waitress.

Survivors include a sister-inlaw, Annie D. Sexton, Paducah, Ky.; two nephews, Ralph Walker, McComb, Il., Robert Walker, Paducah, Ky.

The service was Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bealie Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Kennedy Cemetery in Chance.

Active pallbearers were Mike Rotch, Richard Williams, Bill Gibson, Edd Kennedy, Ralph Walker and Robert Walker.
