Meetings for Chapter #32

Clarke County Chapter #32 for the Day have relocated to the fire station in Gosport. Meetings will be every second Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. Commander Archie Robinson.

SWAIA's prayer breakfast set

Southwest Alabama Improvement Association announces its support of The Clarke County Chapter-Alabama Democratic Conference (ADC)'s Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Prayer Breakfast Saturday, Jan. 12 at the National Guard Armory in Jackson. The guest speaker will be Judge Marvin Wiggins of the Fourth Circuit Court District. SWAIA president, Dr. Hubert encourages all individuals, churches, social/civic clubs, educational institutions, sororities/fraternities, professional organizations, public officials, political organizations and interested parties to attend. The cost of this event is $10 per person. Your generous support is needed for this event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday celebration. Mobile Symphony Youth concert slated

The Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra will give a concert Sunday, Jan. 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sage Auditorium at Clarke County High School. This group of 40 young people is very accomplished and professional. Everyone is invited to attend. The event is organized by the Community Study Club. For more information call 251-275-4755.

GHMH Auxiliary meets

Grove Hill Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will have a guest speaker, Jonah Thomas of LifeLine Ambulance Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. in the conference room. All members are urged to attend.
