Woodard Mary Cathrine Land Woodard, 82, of Chillicothe, Ohio died Jan. 3, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 7, 1925. She was a native of Choctaw County. She was a member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ but attended the Highway 84 Church of Christ in Coffeeville. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Ossie E. Woodards, Columbus, Miss.; two daughters, Jeanette (Gary) Pendleton, Chillicothe, Ohio, Nancy (Charles) Slayton, Columbus, Miss.; three brothers, Gene Land, Cleat Land, Rudder Land, all of Gilbertown; one sister, Sara Ruth Daniels, Gilbertown; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Edward Land, Frank Land and Rosalee Andrews.
The service was Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Highway 84 Church of Christ in Coffeeville with Rev. Carl White officiating. Burial was in the Jones Chapel Church of Christ in Coffeeville. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.
