Woodham

George F. Woodham, 81, of Coffeeville died Jan. 2, 2008 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 21, 1926.

He was a World War II United

States Army veteran.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coffeeville. He was a retired route salesman for Dairy Fresh Milk.

Survivors include his wife, Eva M. Woodham, Coffeeville; one son, Ed Woodham, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Teresa Huckabee, Coffeeville; two brothers, Emelle Woodham, Daytona Beach, Fla., Ben Woodham, Montgomery; one sister, Virginia Green, Jackson; three step-grandchildren.

The service was Jan. 4 at 1 p.m. at the Coffeeville Baptist Church with Rev. Roscoe Wentworth officiating. Burial was in the New Prospect Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directed.

Active pallbearers were Brian Woodham, Rodney Woodham, Wesley Woodham, Gary Green, Mack May and Michael Henson.

Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Wilson, Lundy Scruggs, James Coate, Bob Burnham and Ernest Roberts.
