Phillips Gracie Rae Crenshaw Phillips, 76, of Gilbertown died Jan. 5, 2008 at a family's residence. She was born July 14, 1931. She was a member of the Gilbertown Women's Club. She was a member of Gilbertown Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Gilbertown. Survivors include her husband, Hayward Phillips, Gilbertown; four sons, Chip Phillips, Tony Phillips, both of Gilbertown, Mike Phillips, White Hall, Ariz., Terry Phillips, Thomasville; a sister, Sara Sharman, Theodore; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
The service was Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Church of God in Gilbertown. Burial was in the Gilbertown Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home of Gilbertown directed.
