CCHS downs Chatom 69-59

The Clarke County High School Bulldogs improved to 12-5 on the season as they beat Washington County 69-59 Tuesday night in Grove Hill.

Justin Burroughs led CCHS with 18 points. Deforest Taite had 16 points. Kenneth Kimbrough added 14 points.

The win gives CCHS a 2-0 area record.

The Bulldogs beat the Demons of McIntosh 64-51 last Saturday night on the road.

Justin Burroughs led CCHS with 14 points, six rebounds and four steals. Ronnie Osborne added nine points and seven rebounds. Kenneth Kimbrough had nine points. Deforest Taite added eight points. Marlon McConnell had seven points.

Last Friday night they beat Mobile Christian to post a 1-0 area mark.

Kimbrough had 17 points and nine rebounds. Taite added 14 points and five rebounds. Tamichael Burroughs had 10 points. Colton McConnell and Dwayne Owens each added seven points. Osborne had eight rebounds. Marlon McConnell pulled down seven boards.
