Scott Addie Scott, 90, of Jackson died Jan. 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 22, 1917. She was a former member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church No. 1 of Jackson where she served on the usher board. She was a member the Freewill Family Pentecostal Church of Grove Hill. Survivors include five daughters, Gadia Washington, Eula Ezell, both of Jackson, Linder Nero, New York, N.Y., Odessa Martin, Charliestine Manning, both of Chicago, Ill.; 32 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 18 at 6 until 8 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Home chapel. The service will be Saturday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church No. I in Jackson. Burial will be in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Jackson.
