Wrongful death suit on jury docket

The civil jury term will begin in Clarke County Circuit Court Monday, Jan. 28.

A wrongful death suit, which was originally filed in 2004, is on Judge Thomas Baxter's docket.

Ingrid Watson is suing Gulf State Paper Corporation for the wrongful death of Terry Cheeseboro.

Cheeseboro was working at the paper mill in Demopolis on Sept. 24, 2003 in the bark pit area when he became entangled in the conveyor system and died from his injuries.

Plaintiffs in the suit are Watson, the mother of Cheeseboro's children, Destiny and Reatha, and the children.

Defendants are Gulf State Paper Corp., Danny Lee Reese, B E & K Engineering, Inc., Imperial Technologies Inc., Liberty Mutual Insurance, Burkes Mechanical Inc. and American Resources Insurance.
