Christmas engagement party for Wisdom-Furr Lake Joe Joe in Jackson was the site of a Christmas engagement party for Jana Wisdom and Andy Furr on Dec. 15, 2007. The couple and their guests were served heavy hors d'oeuvres and received a special visit from Santa. They were also entertained with a roast and toast. A gift basket was presented to the bridal couple by the hosts. Special guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Chip Wisdom of Tuscaloosa, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Harrigan of Monroeville and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Parker of Ashburn, Ga., both sisters of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. John Fleet of Montgomery, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Walker of Spanish Fort and Polly Hornsby of Jackson, the groom's grandmother.
Hosting the event were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Skipper, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bolen, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Blount, Mr. and Mrs. William Phillip, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Scogin, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Long, Mr. and Mrs. Trey Sparks, Mr. and Mrs. David Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Bradley, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Bradley, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Boykin and Nancy Nolen.
